There is nothing wrong with several individuals helping you defend yourself, but there is something wrong with several people robbing someone, much like it is wrong on an individual to rob people. Once one starts viewing the government as a collective force made up of individuals, it is simple to realize that we have made certain crimes legal, as long as they are committed by the collective force that's the government. The law's purpose should be to protect the natural rights of individuals. These natural rights are the right to life, liberty, and property; nothing much more.

What he means by this is certainly that so often politicians use the law for what they consider being justice, but justice can not be created. Justice is only present in the absence of injustice.
